A dandelion at the flower show

“If you think you know what the hell is going on, you’re probably full of shit.”

– Robert Anton Wilson

Don’t worry, readers–I do not think I know what the hell is going on.

“The idea is to triangulate a sufficiently large number of data points in your sets of experience so that you can make a model of the world that is not imprisoning.”

– Terence McKenna

I’m just triangulating some data here so I–hopefully, we–can bust out of prison. I write about it because I just can’t seem to stop. I’m writing a blog rather than in a private journal as a challenge to keep myself accountable, honest, humble, always moving forward, and in service to my community. For those who are relatively new to this crooked path, you have found a fellow pilgrim. Maybe you’ll find some useful data points here.

I like to think that all the salient aspects of my personality were manifest within the first few days of my life: I was born asleep, 20 days late, and already able to focus my eyes and smile (well, I was effectively a month old when I was born). I didn’t cry at all during my first three days, until the first time the nurses were late taking me for my feeding, and I never accepted a pacifier (still don’t). My horoscope is ruled by an exalted Jupiter that conjoins the Moon.
